MDS held a major corporate and staff dinner at the beautiful surroundings of Gledswood Homestead on the 23rd November to celebrate our 25th year anniversary. Over 300 people attended this very successful event held to raise funds and celebrate this important milestone for Macarthur Disability Services.

The Italian theme of “Amore” (meaning love) was chosen to represent the love and support the Macarthur Community has given MDS over the last 25 years. “Amore” is about family, community, sharing and caring; all the things that make working and living in Macarthur so
great. The theme was also chosen to highlight the contributions that Italian migrants have made to the Macarthur area over many years.

Staff and business guests enjoyed Antipasti and a great dinner while
serenaded by Italian songs by The ANU Voices of MacGregor. After
dinner, guests danced the evening away to the sounds of the Smooth
Groove band.
During the evening, there was lot of fund-raising activity, including a silent auction, lucky balloons and the drawing of the annual MDS raffle.
