	Wheelchair Basketball is a fast paced, exciting sport jam packed with thrills and spills. Macarthur Disability Services runs this sport for local high schools, for its service participants, and for corporate teams in the annual Jamm & Slamm Corporate Wheelchair Basketball Challenge. It's not only a load of fun; it's also a great mechanism for increasing positive awareness of people with a disability. 	Wheelchair Basketball for High Schools
	Macarthur Disability Services is offering high schools the opportunity for their students to participate in Wheelchair Basketball, available in a variety of formats: Demonstration sessions; we can introduce students to the sport by showing them how to use a wheelchair and how to play the game. Sport; providing Wheelchair Basketball as an activity that students can play on their sport day, or as part of their curriculum. Competition; providing a Wheelchair Basketball competition between several schools, played on their sports day. Jamm & Slamm; at the end of the year, all schools that participated throughout the year compete in a one day knockout challenge.

	Wheelchair Basketball for Service Participants
	Service participants enrolled in any Macarthur Disability Services program have the opportunity to play the sport in friendly games played on Thursday mornings.
	Wheelchair Basketball for Corporate Teams
	Numerous local businesses and companies participate in the Jamm and Slamm Corporate Wheelchair Basketball Challenge at the end of the year. This is a fun-packed day run in a knockout format. 2007 saw the inaugural Jamm and Slamm with the Commonwealth Bank team winning the title. 2008 promises to provide another thrilling day - don't miss out!
