The Home and Community Care program is a joint State and Federally funded program that provides services to people with disabilities, aged people and their Carers, to assist them to live independently in their own homes.
Macarthur Disability Services HACC Development Project provides support and resources to many HACC services in the Macarthur and Wingecarribee areas, to ensure a cohesive and cooperative network of services.

The Aboriginal Home and Community Care Access/ Development Officer
The Development Officer is able to assist people of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background who meet the criteria to access HACC services to help them to live independently in their own homes.
The Home and Community Care Carers Coordination Service
The Carers Coordination Service provides counselling, support, information and advocacy (someone to speak on your behalf) services to carers of people with a disability or who are frail aged.
The Home and Community Care Training program
The Home and Community Care (HACC) Training Project is a service that provides training at a subsidised rate for HACC funded community care workers who work in the Macarthur, Wingecarribee and Liverpool/Fairfield/Bankstown areas.

HACC External Training Subsidy Fund
This subsidy provides funding for HACC Services to attend training and conferences not offered by the HACC Training Calendar. The funding round is opened twice a year, in February and July.
Funding is offered to Home and Community Care funded services that operate in the Liverpool, Fairfield, Bankstown, Campbelltown, Camden, Wollondilly and Wingecarribee areas.
HACC services can apply for these funds by filling in an Application Form, which can be downloaded below.
