International Day of People with a Disability is a United Nations sanctioned day. It aims to increase public awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability and celebrate the achievements and contributions of people with disability in our community.
To celebrate the 2017 International Day of People with a Disability, MDS joined forces with some of our fantastic facilitators to put on a high energy Dance Workshop. The event brought together over 200 service participants and staff from MDS. Over the course of an hour, attendees participated in Zumba and finished off with mediation and stretching.
The 2018 event is still being finalised. Check back here later for more information or contact email@example.com if you’d like to go on the event mailing list.
