Individualised services is a one on one tailored program where an MDS Support Worker provides in home support and/or supports you or your child to access activities in the community.

Meet Jade
I had a goal of attending TAFE but I was scared of being around other people. The MDS Individualised Staff supported me to talk with TAFE about my study options and to complete the TAFE enrolment process. I was scared on my first day of TAFE but the MDS staff helped me and I soon got to know the other students and teachers. I rang my Mum and Dad on my first day and they said they were so proud of me. This made me feel really good and happy.
I am studying a Certificate 2 in Kitchen Operations. The MDS Staff continue to support me in the classroom at TAFE. We are working towards the goal of having me attend TAFE independently.
I really love going to TAFE. I am more independent and confident. Thank you so much MDS for helping me achieve this goal.
