The Campbelltown Challenge Walk 2022

MDS invite you to join our team on Sunday 22nd May at the 2022 Campbelltown City Challenge Walk. The Challenge Walk is an annual event organised by the Campbelltown City Council. Each year MDS enters a team consisting of our service participants, staff, board members and family & friends.

The entry fee (charged by the Council) is $17 per person. This year as an incentive to encourage participation, MDS will be paying the entry fee for the first 20 MDS Participants who join our team & their support person/carer. This is capped at two entries per MDS participant (i.e. MDS will pay the entry fee for yourself + 1 friend/carer.) If you have additional friends or relatives (over and above this) that also want to participate, they will need to pay the $17 entry fee themselves.

Once the 20 spots are taken – anyone who wants to join our team (+ additional friends & relatives over and above the 2-entry rule explained above) will need to register themselves online using the following steps.

  • Select Register to Enter in the purple box at the bottom/side of the webpage
  • Complete the entry form with your personal details
  • At the ‘Select your Event’ question, use the drop down menu to select either the 6km or the 11km or the 6km wheelchair event. MDS has team members in all categories however majority of us complete the 6km event.
  • Select JOIN A TEAM
  • Use the drop down menu to select Macarthur Disability Services
  • Use the drop down menu to select your team type as Open
  • Process the $17 entry fee online with your debit or credit card.


Please Note:
*MDS staff will be attending in a personal capacity with their own families. Therefore, anyone requiring support to travel to or to participate in the event will need to arrange their own support from a family member or carer (the family member or carer will also need to register for the event as per the Council’s rules.)
*Or if you have sufficient NDIS funding, you could purchase support hours from an MDS Support Worker to support you at this event. Please contact your Program Manager if you wish to pursue this option.
*Our special offer only pays for the $17 entry fee. MDS will not be covering/paying for support hours.
